Hi Everyone...
Still trudging along...trying to complete these Summer Camp layouts and games as per my own personal goals...This was another great! challenge...Working with map papers are always fun and already give your layout a sense of "traveling / moving" or a " life journey " or a " life path" ...So,that is the Option that I chose for this layout...Option C...I certainly feel like I have been walking a path of sorts through the last couple of years with losing my husband...almost losing my own life and almost losing the permanent use of my legs and being bound to a wheel chair for the rest of my life...They told me I may not walk again...and I looked at them and said "watch me" ...I will walk again...albeit with the aid of a cane now and with almost 3 years of intense physiotherapy...to arrive here from my own total despair...But despite all the trials and tribulations that I have witnessed and been through,I always try to see the positive even when I am at my lowest and darkest moments in time...As,I now know I am stronger than I ever thought I was or ever could be before...I did not really fully believe in myself back then and I definitely struggled with finding my own identity again after the passing of my beloved husband,Ray...And,I have always struggled with my weight too...but I set a goal for myself this time and I am proud and happy to say that I have reached that goal and even surpassed it...I have now lost a total of 125 pounds,as I was weighed 2 days ago at my family doctor's office...So,the positives are my continuing goal moving ahead...The picture in this layout isn't that great,but I tried to take a full length photo of myself in front of my new large full-length pedestal mirror that can also be moved around and it stands on it's own and will not fall down like my old smaller one with crappy visuals too...and this one is finally full-length for my height too!...I am so happy with it! and on getting an Amazing! deal too!...Happy Birthday! to me!...I was trying to model the new outfit I got for my birthday too...LOL!...Thank You! for this personal journaling challenge...

*This map paper background...was an accidental discovery of personal family love...which gave my layout an in depth...much more personal touch...I was looking through my map paper choices..and wasn't even aware,at the time...that I had a map paper...that first of all,depicted my home country of Canada in the Atlantic region,where I live...and second of all...showed...where I was born in Newfoundland and where my whole family is from and lived...and where my beloved,now passed away, husband Ray's family...also is from...Our families are from 2 separate [not even close to each other ]...parts of the island...We did not know each other from Newfoundland...but only met here,in New Brunswick...all those,almost 30 years ago now...I feel...that finding this paper now...when I needed to...was one of those little...meant to be moments...
