Isn't Mixed Media A Wonderful Thing!...I Love The Principles Of Mixed Media!...I'm Always One To Mix Multiple Styles Into One Layout...This Is The Norm For Me So I Loved Delving Into This Challenge...Basically All Of The Principles That Were Outlined At The Beginning Of This Thread...I Have Applied In Some Way Shape Or Form To My Layout...
Eventhough It Is Still Hot As **** Here During The Day It Does Get Very Cool At Night...Thank Goodness!...The Days Are Getting Shorter Again & You Can Feel The Difference In The Air That Summer Is Beginning To Wind Down...All I Think About Is Fall This Time Of Year...I Don't Love The Heat Of Summer & This Summer Was A Particularly Hot & Difficult One & Because I Haven't Been Feeling Well...I Will Be Glad For The Fall But That Being Said I Will Still Enjoy What Summer Is Left...But This Layout Is Dedicated To The Fall & To Dawn...I Have Used All The Main Fall Colors Here...Red,Yellow/Gold,Green,Brown...I Used Only Dawn's Kits To Create This Layout Except For 2 Items...I Specifically Used Her "Autumn" Bundle...A Real Favorite Of Mine & The Owl Contained In The Kit Is My Most Favorite Owl Of Dawn's & I Wanted To Scrap Just One More Layout With This Kit Before The End Of August & Include That Sweet & Precious Owl!...I Actually Call Him "Owly"...xoxo...Dawn...

Beautiful blend work RJMJ! I love the reds yellows and golds here and the blending with your photo.. the title work is terrific too... well down and a perfect tribute to Dawn!
Oh.my.goodness if this isn't fabulous!! I love all of the different elements that you made work together as well as the obvious blending. I wouldn't have thought of putting those "cutsie" owls on there, but they work beautifully!!
Love the photo layers with the woodland scene in the base then the bridge layered on top. Its a great way to suggest what the viewer might expect if they cross the bridge. I love your blending and the bold typography really adds the unexpected to your page. Gorgeous work.
