@Karen lol yep, that's in my front yard- I took all the photos thru a window so they aren't the sharpest & they are quite loud first thing in the morning but it's just part of normal backgrd noise to me (as opposed to traffic & city 'noise')
Lol not quite, my idea of paradise is closer to Ona's corner of the world @wombat146 , but it's not too shabby; pity u can't pick your neighbour; I'd take hoards more squawking & squabbling birds over some of the people that live around us any day!
@bellbird@Karen Justine, you mean at the old place on the mainland? yes, we had little mad lorikeets around us too! and yes they certainly are noisy! lol! at one time I had something like 25 of them all sitting around on the deck railing! Down here I don't have a lot of birds in the garden but I hope to have some more when the native bushes I have planted start attracting them! We are lucky that our neighbours are really quite, but I really do miss my little wallabies, koalas and birds that used to come and visit me at the old place. *sigh*
Gorgeous page btw Justine!! love how the pops of orange pick up the colours of the lorikeets in the photos! Really a stunning page full of life and colour!
