You're right - such questions evoked from that photo! I love how your flower and yellow strip lead the eye right to the photo and the pointing-man's arms.
I don't want to speak for anyone (LOL) but my Dad's memory was that the man speaking was a communist and the very proper gentleman in the dapper suit was not impressed!
