Oh Val, I am so so sorry about the passing of your sweet Mom. I am so glad you and your daughter were with her as she made the transition. I am sure it gave her comfort when she needed it the most. What a great gift.. (I know first hand, and I would not change being with my Dad at that time for anything.) You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve her loss. I am trying to type through tears right now. It's all too much and I really had no clue how much work it is to plan a funeral. She's well worth it, of course. Thanking God for my oldest daughter who is pulling me through. Thank you so much. Gosh, what will I do with myself without her?

@trekmom it will be a new normal for you... not one that we like but a new one. I find I still talk to mine every day and she will be gone 35 years on 1/25... you will get through one day at a time with her as your angel by your side. Sending you big hugs Val.
