Sleep Cycles

Journaling says: There is a woman who sleeps in this room next to a man, in a giant bed. She sleeps soundly most nights, unless one of those tiny humans come in. Those tiny humans walk now, but they used to sleep next to her. That was quite awhile ago. She moved on to using jarring noises stemming from that mechanical device she always has in her hands, but those have stopped, too. Now, the man wakes to jarring sounds, leaves the room, and comes back for her some time later. I wonder how things will change next....
