@Karen Yes, Ikea sold stuffed rats and I began buying them for Ernest as a prank but turns out, he LOVES them. I wish they didn't stop making them, he'd have a giant pile now. I ordered stuffed rats from Walmart, let's see if he likes those, it's his Christmas present. I know, I know, don't tell, I love that freaking PITA chip cat.
@flowersgal Right? Also, I have tried other stuffed animals for his carrying pleasure but none compare with Ikea rats. My husband picks them up and puts them in a pile every day and every night, Ernest takes them all over. Thank you.
@bellbird Thank you, I'm sure Ernest remembers being a street cat and misses the hunt, but we don't allow him outside because just say no to killing anything and vet bills.
