@bjc The "joys" part of the title was actually the alpha included in the kit, I used a multiply blend mode with it so the sticker feel is less apparent. The "Simple" is DJB's Thick pen bold. Thanks for your encouraging words.
The crochet looks so beautiful! I really enjoyed your journaling and am right along with you having a kitty that only wants to escape cuddles. I especially like the placement and angling of the photos. Adding to my faves for future reference!
