this is such a fabulous art journaling piece ... really powerful journaling - and so well written and moving.  sorry the holiday was so stressful!

W.O.W.  your journaling really went to my heart.  It really gives perspective to how we should think about the elderly in our lives.  I thank God, I never felt that way about my mom when she was pretty feeble and "inconvenient".  I felt your sadness/anger in this.  Sometimes we just want to shake people....
