JOURNALING:
Sewing project May 2017
I had four minor sewing projects that should have been a quick job to complete. NO. It has been some time since I used the machine. I forgot how to thread it. Fortunately, I had the book. The thread kept catching on the spool notch and breaking. An emery board fixed that. The needle broke. I found a small packet of needles, and, with the help of the book again, got it inserted. The most “difficult” project, putting elastic in casings on the sleeves of a nightgown, turned out to be the easiest! The fourth project was just hand tacking a bag pocket where it had come loose.

Great series of photos! Love your journaling - I can relate. I sew infrequently enough that I have to read the manual about winding the bobbin and threading the needle almost every time!
