Journaling reads:
We had such fun leading up to Senior Pictures: planning outfits, scouting locations, shopping and, of course, hair & make up! Maybe it was because of all the hustle and bustle, but I was utterly unprepared for the emotional impact of picture day. Maybe it was because you looked so incredibly gorgeous. So grown up! Maybe it was because senior pictures are yet another harbinger of you leaving the nest. Whatever the reason, I simply could not stop crying throughout the photo shoot. I know this had to embarrass you a bit. I hope you know they were bittersweet tears. My heart was full to bursting seeing the beautiful young woman you’ve become, both inside and out. Most of all, I hope you always look back on this day - all of the outfit changes, the cool locations around the city, the laughter, and yes, the tears, as a wonderful part of the journey that has been your Senior Year. Love you!!
oh momma, you got me going with the tears...can we just turn back time for a short while? oh what an amazing young lady you have here, and may the time go a bit slower for just a little while!
YOU'RE in KC too? I feel like I moved away from a whole community of scrappers lol I've met a few just during this MOC thanks to journaling and/or pictures that identify a tie to KC! What a small world!
She is SO beautiful and the layout is perfect. I know you are SO proud! And the tears, yeah, same thing happened to me, but it was with prom photos. LOL Y'all are going to have an amazing finish to this year and then an entirely new adventure will begin!
