This is the right-hand layout of a 2-page spread, created for June 2016 Random Challenge - complementary colors. My goal was to use the red from the Jersey Boys logo, paired with its complementary green, but not wind up with a Christmas feel to the page. Not sure if I did it, but I'm happy with the results.
I have found the same with my kids. My oldest just graduated and I'm 36 and the older they get the smaller the gap seems. I love the journaling on the notebook page and my absolute favorite - the bolded portions of your journaling. I love that. This is a wonderful page. xoxo
oh Ange... you have brought me to tears and how beautiful a double pager you have made of this....I have no words to explain how much I love this as a scrapbook page, you have everything here I think makes a perfect memory keep with beauty and soul, perfection in every detail... I have one point to argue: older parents get that too: I had Sarita when I was going to be 38 years old....and we are the best friends you can ever imagine. Wont elaborate but you have just not only wowed me with your page, but inspired me to make a page... I need to share this: Into the Froggy Faves!!!
@MrsPeel - holy cow, you just made my day! What a lovely treat - thank you for the honor.
And I want to see your layout - you must make it and share it! And now you've got me thinking about making a similar layout about my relationship with my stepdaughter... we've become extremely close in the 8 years I've been married to her dad, and she says I'm one of her best friends. Completely melts my heart.
will do It happens that my mum has asked for photos newer than last she has that are from last year, as Sarita cut her hair, now I'm up for a whole re vamp, am thinki9ng seriously in doing gray in the hair dressers so I wont need to do hair die at home anymore...Sarita was the one who suggested...so I ll do some photos if that happens in the next week or so, and will make the LO...promise not only to share but credit you as my inspiration. I always enjoy your pages, you are an amazing scrapper and love the way you give us the back story or explain what it is in case we don't understand what s going on!!!!
