I used the kit from Lynn Grieveson called One Day at a Time and nothing else.
No joke, I had the most difficult time getting this photo with my cell phone, one handed, the damselfly took it's sweet time drying off and finally flew away but it gave me plenty of time to get a good shot of it.
Great closeup! I love that honeycomb paint, just perfect. And you are definitely a savior. The only things I swat at are mosquitoes. Everything else is sacred.
@LynnG Thank you. It hung out long enough to dry off and I honestly enjoyed the moment. @Angela Toucan Thank you. @Cherylndesigns Thank you. I've rescued bitey things too but don't have them on my hands. yeah, you go hang out on a leaf, there you go. @mcurtt I agree about the skeeters. Thank you. I do my best not to harm anything outside. I swear, my Italian grandmother would have made a wonderful Buddhist Monk. She rescued a bat in her house once with a towel. Life is sacred, except for mice, she hated them. Me? I capture them and relocate the mice.
Love how you documented the rescue. Nice close-up and you have scrapped beautifully, I love it! Wishing you a very beautiful weekend sweet lady and tons of love on your way
