Description
It's been awhile since I have done very many Monthly Challenges...I did 3 layouts...2 months ago...None last month...June was a particularly hard month for me...with the somber passing of my Beloved Husband Ray,who passed away from Terminal Brain Cancer...being gone for one year...on June 9th 2024...I still can't believe it has been a year now...It isn't funny how time just continues to go by so quickly...Either way,I have been creating a rather large number of Grief Layouts...But for this Scraplift Challenge...I am about to show you all...one of the first...of a handful of layouts I have created that are non-grief related...but still relate to feelings expressed...But this layout is also a different style than I am used to creating...I really went all out to create something different in each & every way...

The layout I scraplifted for this challenge...is from the May Froggy Favorites : That Was Me By SanVHM ... : https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/that-was-me.569508/

***What can I say that hasn't already been said about this incredible layout...in her gallery & in the Froggy Favorites Thread...First thing that caught my eye was the pops of vibrant color...This is one of my favorite colors...I also liked the way there were elements on the left side that coincide with the elements on the right side...All That wonderful! clustering!!!...and the overall unique & elegant design...

***I would never scraplift a layout exactly as it has been first created...I see each layout as it's own stand-alone unique Art Creation...So,I take what inspires me...and create a layout that is unique to my style or in this case...something just a bit different from my own usual unique style...

#1. Vibrant Colors : [I have purple & blue]
#2. Left Side Elements To Coincide With The Right Side Elements
#3. 1 Frame & 1 Photo
#4. A Lot Of Clustering Behind The Photo
#5. A Mostly White-Space Style Layout [I used the same : purple & blue colors... for my background ] [my usual style is mostly : filling up the whole page]
#6. Scatter [ I used the scatter to create a pair of earrings for my lovely lady & a necklace to hold up her halter-style...dress]
#7. Minimal Word Art [I usually have tons of WA ]
#8. A Large Combo of : Messy Paints,Messy Markings,Threads,Tags,Ribbon,Stamps,Ink Spots,Paper Pieces,Bows Etc...
#9. Flowers
#10. The Open Piece Element : On The Left-Side [I mimicked that by creating many open blended-in dots...on my background papers]...
#11. Vintage Style Photo
