Saturday Afternoon Hike

For a BSA requirement, our son had to plan and take a 5 mile hike. We had a great afternoon exploring a new to us area not too far from home. We started at a local park, followed the Mountains to Sea trail, and looped the old Occoneechee Speedway (the only remaining dirt track from NASCAR’s inaugural season in 1949!).
