ohhhhhhh I can't believe it!!! I knew we had some point in common that was unknown to me... Minas is one of the most beautiful places in Brazil, I did a lot of traveling there when I was doing Tourism in Uni... the Historical Cities was a trip we learned by actually doing the tour...then I took a then boyfriend of mine's kid to a small city called Sao Tome das Letras... one of the most amazing memories before I met my husband.... LOVE the page again, of course, gorgeous photos, love seing you in the page again, the stairs are amazing and the journaling great.... now I want Guarana & Pao de Queijo!!!!!!! If you ever come to London, I can cook you Brazilian food!!!!!!! love this Lynnette!!!!!!
ooh! the painted ladies. i used to hang out there bc it wasn't too far from my apartment when i lived in SF for a short time! love the shot of the wires!!!
@MrsPeel I've never been to Brazil but I'm dying to go. DH lived there for two years before we met. And I would LOVE to meet you in London (and have you cook for me LOL!) Brazilian beans and rice - with farofa - is my comfort food!
@Lynnette I did get that it was him who had lived in Minas... I think you will LOVE the country if you go.... I lived in Rio for the most part, but then I have family and lived in stages in the north east, which was where I moved the family when my husband was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and his English family here wouldn't move a finger to help (Sarita was 1 year old) We moved to Bahia and lived there when Sarita was a toddler, so she had the best start in life: climbing trees and eating from trhe garden....but then life played tricks and London was the pl;ace we needed to be... LOVE LOVE rice & beans & farofa!!!!!! you where at Scrap matters...am I right to think? my memory is not very good (I am OLD LOL) but I know that when you came posting here more often, I had the impression I knew your scrapping, your family... anyway, I am so glad to find something else we have in common!!!!! if you have the chance to come over: my home can be ready to receive you if you give me 2 or 3 days notice...small place but a great area in London and we always have food in the fridge!!! (I have been making Brigadeiros lately too!!! LOL) it would be so amazing to meet you guys in person!!!!
