I'm cleaning out my mom's house and found a large box with every single card my step-father ever gave my mom. I am glad I took a photo of one.
I used: Rachel Jefferies: My Love Story: Flair, Hearts and Wreath.
Little Butterfly Wings: Adventure: Blog Hop Circles.
Lynn Grieveson: Sunnyside Up: Paper 13, Phrase 3, and paint 3.
I am in charge of everything now, and am knee deep into getting an estate sale ready. It's quite stressful. My mom is now in assisted living and doing very well there.
I just adore those little handwritten notes! That is so sweet and so beautifully scrapped!! Glad your mom is doing well in assisted living, but I'm sure that all you're dealing with is overwhelming.
@IntenseMagic Thank you. It's very overwhelming. I can't believe how much stuff is in this house. It's just unreal. I was very happy to find the Japanese tea set that I bought them in the basement. I figured she gave it to someone. She thought it was for the Japanese tea ceremony, but it was just for tea not in a tea bag. There was no rhyme or reason to any of the things in the basement. at least 100 Christmas bags, and boxes. Empty boxes from products. I was elbow deep in mouse poop and saw my ENT after who properly told me to wear gloves because mice carry the Hantavirus. I thought it was from touching the mice but it's from their poop. Great, something else to worry about, lol. I should wear a mask too.
What a wonderful memory to keep. It must be hard when your parent need help to cope the everyday life. Glad that she got help. Be careful in that basement and wear a mask too. Love your page
@trekmom Bless your heart. I know it will be the same for me when I have to deal with my mother's house. She has every nook and cranny stuffed with something. You might should wear a mask! I hope that you don't have to deal with much more poop!
