It was an amazing moment, standing under a saguaro and experience how gigantic they are. They can be over 200 years old and they event get bird nest holes, just like trees. The spikes Han be 5 cm long and the characteristic arms develop when they are over 6 meters, approximately when they are 65 years old. We did miss the blooming, since that is in May-June, but it really is an amazing landscape and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to experience it!
