oh wow - these are supercool - i love how all the parts are painted the same bright colour but it's probably made of all kinds of rusty old junk!

@bellbird & @scrapchyck I saw the tops of these huge robots about 15 years ago, over a tall hedge when I was on a bus tour in the Movie Colony and have never forgotten them. So this year when I went back to Palm Springs, I managed to tour his yard and yes, it is all salvaged parts and toys and unexpected items. It was the highlight of my life, I think!
