@MariSt We lose power for 2 hours at a time, stage 4 means we are off for 2 hours 4 times in 24 hours, Currently we are on stage 5, which means 5 times of 2 hours off.
A beautiful page and informative page, but for those of us who don't live in your part of the world, a definition of Load Shedding would have been really nice... Reading the comments here I gather it is power shutdowns... What is the reason for this? I live in Northern California, where there have been too many horrific fires, and the utility company has been found liable for most... so now whenever wind is forecast those in the affected areas are warned that the power will go off at such and such a time, as a precautionary measure... no eclectic lines blowing into trees and starting fire if, they are shut down... I had to google to see what they are called.... Public Safety Power Shutoff, also called a PSPS
