Journaling: I’m sorry that your sixth grade school year didn’t end the way it should have. I’m sorry that you didn’t get to enjoy all of the things that this school year would have brought to you. Today we drove thru the school parking lot to return books and the baseball uniform checked out to you. We were both sad that this is the way the school year ended – a car ride thru the parking lot to say goodbye. We snapped this last photo with Mrs. Bowns so that you would still have this memory. I wish that things could have been different for you, bud. You have been so understanding through it all though. I’m so proud of you!
