This was fun LO to create. Other than the picture, everything else is from the “Just Breathe” kit.
Just a brief synopsis of how this look was created:
For the sand, I used the “cardboard” looking paper, layered the glitter over it and applied the multiply blend mode. (I did have to distort/skew the sand element to make it the more appropriate depth appearance and also applied an outer glow so that it blended more with “water”). The rest of the back ground was created by using the blend modes and blending 2 pieces of paper with the photo and the frame. I did apply a color overlay to the journaling element in the top right as I wanted it to have more of a sun appearance.

This is pure fun to look at too! I seriously just smiled with the seal. I love you included the HOW to your page, that just adds to the fun and creativity happening!
What a super fun layout! You picked the most perfect kit for this photo and I'm glad you left it so big. Wonderful job with the subtle stripes in the background too.
@AnneofAlamo awww thank you. When I saw this little fellow, I knew he needed his own stage. Glad you liked my "how." When I do a lot of blending that can make it seem the kit isn't the same, I'm trying to include that in my post to explain why my stuff may look a little different.
@MrsPeel Thank you for sweet words, means so much!
@trekmom thank you!! He is quite fun and amazing....
@yellowpeep thank you! I agree, this kit compliments him perfectly. Thanks, those stripes were created by using the "multiply" blend mode with a couple sheets of paper over the photo. I extracted my friend here as well and he is layered on top to separate him from the background.
Ooohhh! This makes me want to go outside and sit in the warmth of the sunshine. It just feels so good - your page and the warm sunshine. I too enjoyed your explanation for how you created this page to spotlight this cute little creature. And of course, I love the blue-greens.
