Re your journaling, I wish you all the success in the world. The first step is making the commitment to yourself and documenting it is almost like a contract, so congrats for taking the first step!!! I was feeling the same way back in 2009 (not being able to stand myself), when I was going to my 30th HS reunion. I decided the week before the reunion I was going to do something about it, and enlisted the assistance of my DH... with portion control, healthy eating and excercise, in 18 months I lost 101 pounds. As of Wednesday, the 1/16/2013, I will have maintained that weight loss totaling now 104 down for 2 years. You can do it.. please message me if you need any moral support and cheerleading I am in your corner and will be rooting for you!!!
keela!! I am with you!! I hit 280 last February, and cried sitting on the toilet...cried and cried and cried. Then my friend who was the same size, died of a heart attack...I cried and said, enough. I am 80 pounds down, and till plan on 40 more...I feel better and it went way faster than I thought, I walked..;
1/2 a block first and called my hubby to pick me up...pain agony..
now I walk 3-5 miles at a wicked brisk pace, straight up hills and can run with my kids!! YOU can do this!!! PM for a smile, and someone to say...step away from _____insert fav food.!
