nothing like an early start - i credit Playschool & Sesame St and leaving subtitles on the tv with teaching DS to read - love the mix of everything, textures with the string and paints and patterns here as well as the circle repetition and how nothing lines up perfectly (odd comment probably but the days of the week on an angle to the coral-ish stripe pp and the grey-ish stripe on the right end being angled adds so much to the realism)
@bellbird Subtitles are a great thing - we love them now. Wish I'd thought of that then! (Though she rarely watched TV, instead she loved old videos of BBC children's educational programmes!). And the reading was such a surprise. For a while she could process written words better than she could process auditory stuff, so we would write things down if we needed to explain things while she was still a toddler … quite bizarre!
