Random Everyday Moments

I never imagined that I would be raising a child with numerous special needs, but in life you never know what you are going to get. Fate had another plan for me, and I was blessed to be your mother. Although times have been hard and there have been many moments I have wanted to break down and cry, I cherish those everyday random moments such as spontaneous laughter, a new accomplishment achieved, hearing a new word, or even a rare I love you from your lips. In those moments I realize it is all worth it. All the heartaches, headaches and hours of therapy. Everything I do for you, it is worth while. As you learn and grow into the boy I dreamt about. Those everyday random moments make me believe in hope again. Make me realize that anything is possible and remind me how much of a miracle you are.
