While this was a very different kind of challenge...especially for me...I haven't done this kind of thing [ with colors ] in a very long time...I thought it would be a unique kind of challenge to try...I couldn't get to sleep...as I had been on my feet too long this day...& my legs were in pain too because of that...So,I thought I'd do one last challenge for August...This will make 4 that I have completed...That's like a new record for me...it's been a really long time since I've done any more monthly challenges than 2...

I wanted to scrap another page about my August 11th Birthday...I did one page already...with my birthday candles in it...But I wanted to do another with the photo of my Dozen Red Roses my Dad bought me for my birthday...too...Facing my Birthday alone was not an option for me...I wouldn't have made it on my own...So I decided I am gonna have my family near me as much as possible...They all thought I wanted to be all alone on my Birthday...because it would be a hard day for me...NO!!!!!!...I said...NO!!!...So I spent one day with my Dad...& one day with my brother...It was as great! as it could have been!...[ ...considering the circumstances... ] ...My brother spent the entire day & part of the early evening too...He stayed as long as he could have...before he had to go home & get some sleep...as he had to work the next day...It wasn't lost on me,that he stayed with me as long as he could...It really meant the world to me...My Dad gave me the Dozen Red Roses on August 10th,the day we spent together...& he also surprised me with a very special...Gluten-free & Dairy-free triple chocolate cake!!!!!!!!...All my food has to be gluten free & dairy free...among just some of my major food allergies...It is incredibly difficult to find any cake here where we live...that is Gluten Free & Dairy Free!...I haven't had cake of any kind...in almost 2 years now!...Last year,my Ray bought me cherry cheesecake instead,as he couldn't find a proper cake...The cheesecake was pretty good!...Again,hadn't had that in so many years!...It is kinda backwards here for GF & DF food...I was wondering how that cake would taste???...You never know with GF & DF food?...But it turned out to be delicious!!!...My brother & I put all the candles on the cake...[I asked him to join in...for fun...]...We stood & smiled as the candles glowed to match the flame colors!...We had Triple Chocolate Ice Cream,Blueberries & Whip Cream!!!...OMG!...It was so Delicious!...I took a few pictures and then...I cut up the cake,& pieced it out to him first,then me...We enjoyed it & just for a little while...I wasn't so sad...But while my brother was in the living Room waiting for the cake & all...

*As per the rules of this Challenge...I have used 2 colors to scrap my page...Red On the Left side & Green on the Right side... [Various elements on the green side...have been recolored ]...It really was quite the challenge indeed to finish this page!!!...
