Journaling Reads:
I am blessed to be great aunt to these two littles. I take the title very seriously. It is my hope that as they grow up, they will know me as the great aunt. The one who is the ringleader of silly, and chief instigator of fun! On this day, we received around two inches of rain in a very short time. We were gifted the biggest puddle of all time so, of course, there was only one thing to do. Put on rain gear and go outside to make our own sunshine. And this is exactly what we did. We had a grand time splashing around together in the rain and playing silly games together until we were absolutely drenched! Our games may or may not have included running and jumping in to see who could make the biggest splash, and I may or may not have won that title! You two at least were wearing rain boots, which fared a lot better in the puddle than my shoes. Your mom wasn’t able to join in the fun due to her knee injury, but she did a great job taking photos of our silliness and laughing at our antics. Next time, I know she will also be right there in the rain with us. So much fun, and a day to remember!
