After Larry passed away, I didn\'t think
our family would ever get a dog, little did
we know that we were just waiting for a
certain little chappie to be born. I am sorry
you were so badly treated by your owner
and had to be rescued by the vet who is
also our neighbour. But at some point in
your life you found yourself just next door
to us. Mum just became retired a little while
ago and didn\'t know what to do with all
this free time suddenly on her hands. She
needed to feel useful, and the vet's sister
turned out to be allergic to the dogs. i.e.
you. The tiny puppy needed urgent care
with injections every day, and pipette and
then spoon feeding every couple of hours
24 hours a day. The vet asked Mum if she
could give him a hand with looking after
you while he could still keep an eye on you.
He told her that you were a popular breed
puppy that someone would pay a 1000 USD
to own so there\'ll be no problem finding you
a home after you got better. Mum could not
let you die so she took you in on the proviso
that you would be rehomed once you got
better. But of course the longer you stayed
together, the closer the three of you became.
Even Dad who loved Larry the doberman
with all his heart couldn\'t imagine life without
you in just a few short weeks, so you stayed.
