We went down to the hospital cafeteria to get a drink but the cafeteria was closed. We found the vending area and met up with our first robot vending machine. As with all technology, there was a leaning curve on our part. The machine said you could pay with a credit card. Rich followed the steps on the screen and swiped the card when prompted. Nothing hapened. We finnagled around thinking we were going to be charged for a water we did not get. Finally, Rich put bills in and what happened next blew us away. It was like fireworks in a machine. There was so much noise and action. An arm flew out, up, down and over in a matter of seconds with our water in tow. It was startling but fun to watch. Rich checked our card when we got home but there was no charge from our first interaction. We sound like hicks in the big city but this vending machine really was quite an experience.
That is such a funny story Jan! I love the old-timey pieces you used in contrast to the Robot! Thank you so much for joining the storytelling challenge!
