Life in Pictures Album (No.02), Worn Out Photo Edges and Borders No.01, Essential Bases by Lynn Grieveson
Journaling: I eventually had John lead me to the edge (while my eyes were closed, nonetheless) and guide me to where I needed to be. I wasn't going to let my fear of heights get in the way of me seeing this gorgeous view. I got close to the edge where I was kneeling behind a small ledge, and almost looked the whole way over. I may always wish I had looked, but the feeling was just too overwhelming. If it wasn't for that ledge I wouldn't have gotten that close. I just couldn't bring myself to look all the way over the edge, but I got close enough. But that view! It was breathtaking. Seeing the mountains with the blue of the Lysefjord was definitely one of God's better creations!
Wow, so beautiful, and such an accomplishment to get the photo! I love the story behind the photo, means so much more now. Be proud of yourself! I understand that pit of fear that balls in your stomach, and to get over that for that beautiful shot is fantastic! I love the big photo, and the great group shot! Such a fan of this one, Jan. You're scrapping out of the park with the big pictures lately! PS... thanks for playing along with my challenge!
