planning a summer vacation...

Description
Planning a family trip for 4 generations of family should not be left up to a 24 year old! One trip in the books, and I quit!

Sounds like it all worked out in the end. :) I rarely plan anything, we just play it by ear. Less stressful. LOL. I love that you journaled all of this, so you won't soon forget the pain. Love the extracted folder in the corner!

I'm sorry it was stressful for you but I would imagine it will be a trip that your whole family will remember! I hope this will be the last page for a series of layouts of parts of the vacation you absolutely LOVED!

Not only is that a fabulous page but what a great story! I can totally see being in your shoes. Glad to hear it was a success. Next year maybe you should visit them!

yes, eventually I will get around to sorting through the 1400 pictures we took and create the rest of the book. I just needed a chance to get away from it for a little bit! The trip DID turn out great. National Parks were my lifesaver..FREE, Historical, and surprisingly kid friendly! Thanks for your comments ladies!

Juli, I make it home a few times a year, but I'm one of four kids (we all live in different states) so having the family come to me doesn't happen often! I think I'm out of things to show them should they come back anytime soon! lol

I'm a total planner so I totally get this. It sure can be stressful trying to make everyone happy and everything work out. Your planner looks amazing though, and I love that you journaled about the process of planning the trip.

I love the picture of the trip bible, all of the journaling and the stitched title!!

Love how you included your "trip bible" on here! The whole layout looks super cool. Glad the trip was a success!

LOL Wow, sounds like quite the event! Glad it all turned out ok, and your page is so fun! Love the way you framed it out, included the folder, and made the journaling the focus, and the title work is terrific... beautifully done!

All that stress sounds like it was worth it in the end!!! It sounds like one of our vacations....at least 2 weeks of cross country driving every summer taking in sights along the way!!!!
