@flowersgal Thank you! This was scanned directly from a 1930 yearbook. My mother is in the photograph, the very top row, middle. I've got the doodle hearts around her.
@mcurtt - I thought the one with the heart might be someone special. I can see the resemblance. How blessed you are to have that yearbook. I have only a few photos of my mother as a young person but it opens up a new window of perspective of her for me.
@flowersgal I know exactly what you mean. To see my mother young & vibrant (She was 40 years old when she had me, so I never really saw her "young"), is always a thrill. And if I can honor her in a heritage page that is printed, that is all the better.
Love this! How great that you have your mother's yearbook, she is lovely. It's so fun to see the styles of the time as well. Great nod to the book cover. btw, have you read that book? looks interesting.
@ashleywb Thank you! I agree, it is fun to see the styles from back then. Although the photos were quite small in the book, so it was pretty difficult to make out many details. I enlarged the photo as much as I thought I could get away with. And no, I have not read the book, I selected it because of the cover...
