      Good luck Val on selling your Mom's house and closing by Halloween. I know how hard and emotional it is, but as you said, it is now another's time to enjoy the house and make new memories.. even the fun pink bathroom with laundry chute! Lovely use of the quadrants, and great choice of papers and elements. Great page. Thank you for playing along with the September Style Challenge!

      @cfile Thank you. I'm hoping that we close on Halloween. The couple loves the pink bathroom, the built ins, the indoor grill, the avocado green range and vent hood, the brick in the family room, the mantle that goes from wall to wall and the fireplace that was only used once. My mother wasn't cleaning that! My son and I did all the work emptying the house with the exception of two days. Let me tell you, that junk pick up is worth every penny. They play Tetris for grown ups to get your best price.
      @mcurtt Thank you!
      @Ferdy Thank you. The real estate agent had me take all the photos because, why pay someone when I can do the job. Pink bathrooms were all the rage and that is returning. I found out there is a whole website devoted to pink bathrooms. An era is ending and a new one is beginning. I wish the new couple the best in the house.

      @ajm Thank you, it's odd to make a page about a bathroom but we're selling my childhood house and it's sentimental. In my house we had a green bathroom but it wasn't real tiles. They were green plastic tiles. Thankfully, they are long gone now. I love the pink bathroom. Most people think I am nutty.

      God luck by selling your moms house, must be hard since it is your childhood home. I remember going through my mums stuff and it was very hard. Love the pink bathroom, I've seen pink bathroom even on makeover houses so pink is okay. Love your page with those photos too.

      @designbylime Thanks so much. I hear you. Going through everything makes me want to go through my things now and get rid of as much as possible. No storage renting for me. The pink bathroom was my favorite. The laundry chute is the best. The house is empty except for a few things. My sewing machine, the old pedal one, a corner table, a desk and a bed. I need to get Restore to go pick those things up. I want my sewing machine but I haven't any space for it. I tried selling it on Facebook Market Place but all I got were scammers.

      @trekmom I lost my moms old, old Singer sewing machine and that makes me sad. Men who are getting rid of furnitures have a habit of throwing more away than was said. I lost my loom that way when we moved many years ago, it was over 100 years old and worked so well. Men again :)

      @designbylime I feel that deeply for you and I am sorry. I'd give you my old singer with the pedal, if I could. My grandmother had an old Victrola and when she died, my handicapped uncle threw it out of the second story landing, to it's death. Ugh. He didn't know any better.
