Fun challenge, Lori, I love your composition and story! The boys here would be mortified to be embarrassed in front of their friends too! Here in the house when it's just us, the oldest will call out I love you as he walks to his bedroom at night, but if I say it to him as he's getting out of the car in front of the middle school in the morning, the most I can hope for is a soft mumbling under his breath, lol!
