naww what a great way to spend your b''day! i love the paper with the penguin ?stamp at the bottom corner - very much channeling the scout. You got great photos with the low light (there's a similar colony and tour in Tasmania that we've seen years ago and the background of my pics was pretty much black- we could really only see the penguins due to the diffused spotlight the guides were using even when they waddled right past us and all round the sand dunes) - the combo of blue and kraft and mixed size & case of that KimJ alpha is very cool here -TFS!
There was a strict "no photo" policy once it got dark. I was able to get a picture of one hiding under the walkway before it got dark. This was the one in the bottom left corner. Since they didn't allow photo's they had a few images available for download of the penguin coming ashore. That's the one on the top left. The highlight for me was also watching them from the boardwalk walking along the dunes. Your Tasmania experience also sounds amazing. Thanks @bellbird
