@Cherylndesigns@flowersgal Thank you both! Paula's watercolor papers are to die for. That helps to get the effect. I started out with a full photo of my scene, attempting to line up the photo's horizon with Wintertime paper (4) which reminded me of a horizon anyway. The Wintertime paper was set to vivid light, but then my photo was a bit too dark. So I duplicated my photo and had that be layer 3 from the bottom. I messed with the blending modes until I hit upon Pin Light. So there you have it. Added a few of her cute elements and called it done. Seriously, I tried a number of blending mode variations of just the photo & paper, then adding in the duplicate photo before trying more blending modes. It was fun to experiment. I wanted the paper to shine through, but I also wanted my photo to not be washed out. So there was no photo techniques applied here other than blending. I hope this helps.
@mcurtt Thanks for the explanation, Marilyn! That's one of those things that I guess you would just have to play around with. You hit it out of the park!! It's absolutely stunning!! Thanks for taking the time to go through your process(s).
