My hubby and I read lots of books about WWII. I passed on the Tattooist - not sure I can read that one. The book I just finished was pretty bad - I had to skip over a lot of it. It still escapes every fiber of my being that those horrible events occurred.
Enjoyed your journaling and will have to see if my library has these books. I, too, am a reader and have done some reading of history related to the Holocast. Never easy reading but important to know. We visited Dachau years ago which literally sucked the breath out of me at the horror. I hate the fact that so many in today's world want to deny that it ever happened. Thank you for sharing this layout, Marilyn.
@mcurtt Thanks, Marilyn. I will look for that one. I've read a lot of books that have a lot of reference to the camps. Have you read any of Marius Gabriel's books? He writes Historical Fiction - there are characters in his books that really lived. We've really enjoyed his books and learned a lot about WWII.
@mcurtt Oh my goodness, I just finished "We Were The Lucky Ones" on audio. It was wonderful, powerful, and I had trouble listening to some of it, but I'm so glad I listened to it.
