I'm so glad that you were able to provide some sort of normalcy for you GS. It looks like a beautiful day, and Asher made an Easter haul!

@mcurtt Asher had a fun day - as normal as we could make it, so it was a nice Easter. It wasn't like it usually is, but we made the best of it. We ordered Easter dinner from a restaurant and had it delivered to our house. That was a first, but we really enjoyed it. We just tried to make it fun and maybe a little different. It was beautiful here today - pretty hot, but beautiful. Hope you and John had a nice day.

@Cherylndesigns It was good. I stayed in my jammies all day. John got some work clothes on & ended up working outdoors for a couple of hours. I did some cleaning & cooking. I made grain-free blueberry muffins this a.m. for breakfast. For dinner, I made a white borscht soup (Polish tradition). And in the afternoon, I sipped on a chilled wine cooler.

@mcurtt Sounds like you had a lovely day! Staying in jammies all day always sounds good to me. It sounds like you got some relaxing in and John got to get outside. It must be pretty decent weather up there by now.

@Cherylndesigns Yesterday it was in the 40's? Today it was warmer and sunny, but it has been storming all evening, heavy rain. John tells me that it is supposed to get cold this coming week. Parts out west had snow today, so it may be headed this way. Last week, we had some snow flurries.

@mcurtt I've seen snow around the Midwest. We used to have snow in April in Michigan. It's unseasonably hot here for this time of year. I haven't been out yet today, but yesterday, the wind was even hot. Ugh. It was "summer hot" and it's only April.

Lovely layout, Cheryl. At first I thought the rabbit was live and maybe Asher got it for Easter too but finally realized it was a picture. So thoughtful of you to plan such a great day for him. We worshipped in NY in Central Park with Franklin Graham at 9a.m. our time (in pjs). Then I showered, dressed and was ready to worship (once again online) with our home church at 10:15 a.m. Had a relaxing afternoon with emails and texts from friends and some reading time.

@flowersgal Asher had a great day, Patsy! It sounds like you had a wonderful day too. The best part is "in jammies". We had to get dressed to go outside for the egg hunt, but we were casual all day. I think we're all learning to live with less and honestly, I'm looking at it as a blessing.

PS I thought that bunny card would look like a real bunny. It was just too cute not to use. Haha
