Past Present Future

Journaling: The Past, My 20s
I lump my late teens and early 20s together as my decade of carefree days, full of friends, fun, music, night clubs, binge drinking and no responsibilities. It wasn't smooth sailing. I had my own share of sadness and let downs but I wouldn't change anything as the past makes me who I am today.
The Present, My 30s
I was 24 when I had my eldest child and 33 when I had my youngest. I adored being pregnant and my babies are my greatest joy but I feel that my 30s have disappeared in a blur of domesticity and I have been on autopilot. I feel I have tried to be everything everyone else expected me to be and somehow I am just waking up from a coma.
The Future, My 40s
I have just turned 40 and I have decided to embrace my age and finally start to follow my dreams that I left behind so long ago. Life really does begin at 40!
