12 days of AJ - Day 2 "pair" prompt - a story about my excitement to travel in a few weeks!

Is it too early to start the countdown? I am going to see Donna in 6 weeks. Wooo, just like old times! When we could drink our tequila shots, and smoke our cigarettes and not care. Except life is so different now. Neither of us smoke. We care. We only talk once or twice a year because we are absolutely horrible about phone calls and texts. We might drink wine. And since I’m the sole repsonsible adult for the kids, that will obviously put a cork right in that wine bottle. But no matter the miles, no matter the time, I am still excited to take the kids on this adventure, and crazy enough to be looking forward to the challenge. Happy birthday to me!
