Journaling reads: I was able to get a pair of eclipse glasses from John’s school (they ordered them, then were not allowed to use them). I took them to work with me, hoping that I could plan breaktime to coincide with the partial eclipse. (I was very fashionable that morning!) Initially, I was only able to catch the very start of the coverage, but left my glasses with some co-workers. It was too exciting to get much work done all morning. I stopped by several more times to see the progress and I think I caught the most coverage that we could see in Arizona! My friends and co-workers were amazed to have the opportunity to see the eclipse, even if we couldn't see the totality. I did check out the online feeds that were showing the total eclipse in other parts of the country and loved my uncle's photos from his visit to Idaho.
It was such an amazing event, even without full totality! Great journaling and love the moon covering the sun and the gradient background paper. Wonderful page! Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
