1. 2 hour delay while the plane was being fixed in Milano airport.
2. the smoke from the bathroom & all the alarms blaring
3. the announcement that one of the engines has packed in
4. being frustrated about behaviour of the Italian passengers (eye roll)
5. accepting that death is a very firm possibility
6. preparing to have emergency landing in Atlantic
7. announcement of emergency landing in Shannon, Ireland (again!)
8. realizing I hadn't had an emergency landing for 22 years
9. landing among firefighters, police and ambulances & not needing them
10. Unexpected visit to Limerick...
