Our Love Story

Description
These are photos from my paternal Grandparents wedding. The original photos were very light and faded. I had to darken them so you could see them. The articles are recreations of actual news articles. My Grandma had glued them into a photo album so it was easier to recreate them. I love that she kept them because it gave me an insight to what their wedding was like.

What an amazing heritage page!! I live not far from Midland, MI. :) Green & peach always seem to be the perfect choice when scrapping old photos!

@lynning That's funny. What a small world. I grew up in Midland. :) The colors are actually from their wedding. The news articles said that she wore a green dress and peach was her favorite color.

ohhh I LOVE that she kept them, love the way you edited, love the way you scrapped the page!!!! I love the casual/collage feel and almost looks hand made (as in a paper page) you used some gorgeous elements and oh wow to the shadows!!!!!! gorgeous page!!! Luckily my mum also kept photos my grandparents had, so i have my fair share of them, this is so inspiring....gorgeous!!!
