Description
Week 2: May Monthly Muse

I'm truly thankful for the places I've been, the landscapes I've seen, where my boots have set foot. I don't have access to one of my own pictures right now...my favorite desert is the Painted Desert, Arizona. This spot, in the photo, in the outskirts of New Mexico is a second favorite. I've been to the deserts of Iraq and Kuwait too. The desert is not for everyone. The wide open spaces with zero trees is intimidating - makes ya feel vulnerable. Some deserts have low lying shrubs and bushes, some grasses and cacti. I am ALWAYS amazed at the plant life that adapts to the harsh conditions of the desert.

wow! what a great capture of that incredible landscape and you chose the most perfect quote to use with it Lisa! Love how you have scrapped the photo and love the thoughts you have included in your credits, thanks so much for sharing. I am also amazed at the diversity of plant life in this very big wonderful world of ours! :) Awesome layout Lisa!

It does look spectacular . I like the travelogue insert up the side of the photo, information without detracting from the photo.
