This is such a standout page Christa! I love the title work, the photo of your mom, the journaling, wonderful storytelling, and the paper layering with the amazing shadow work. Then add the binoculars, and the tiny bird, the perfect finishing touch. Outstanding!!

I love the curled page revealing the map, the large binoculars, the realism of the elements, so it looks like I'm looking at a table top! And what lovely journaling...that's a nice legacy to leave!
