Journaling: I waited and waited and waited for the perfect spot to photograph the parade down Main Street. I even watched the fireworks from the flagpole just so that I would have this particular spot for the parade. The nighttime parades are always such a challenge to photograph, especially with the funky lighting conditions. My favorite spot is even more difficult because there just isn't enough light. Still, I am quite happy with how they turned out. It was definitely worth sitting there for nearly two hours.
