We arrived at Old Key West at around 19:45, checked in and decided to go straight for some food at Olivia's Cafe since we were all really hungry!
We were really hungry after a full day of travel, and since we’d eaten here before we knew it was good quality comfort style food. We had no trouble getting a table last minute and had our mains in no time. Myself, Momma and Andy went for the New York Strip Steak, Phill went for the Tortuga Seafood Stew, and Kayleigh went for the Plantation Key Pork Chop. All were good but Kayleigh and Phill admitted they were jealous of our steaks. We even managed desert, Key Lime Pie for Mam and Andy, while me and Phill and Kayleigh opted for the chocolate cake. Kayleigh opted for hers to go though, she was too stuffed!

When we arrived we were given a room on the top floor. I knew I would not be able to manage the stairs after a long day at the parks, so asked if they had any ground floor rooms available. They didn’t have any for that night but told us we could switch rooms in the morning. It turned out to be a huge relief. Its a little change but it made a huge difference to me!
Our room was just as it was last time (but reversed) and with a gorgeous view of the river, with boats passing by every so often. Just being here and knowing where we were, made me so happy and contented. We decided to grab a quick service dinner and get an early night on that first evening. We had an adventure to prepare for!!
