Description
I really loved the little word art piece that said "My treasured people" as these ARE my people!! The oldest baby is my mom, my grandfather is holding her, my grandma is on the far right. My great-grandmother is the one closest to the camera in the chair. The others are my paternal great-grandparents, 2nd cousins (the babies) and great aunts. Some of these people I knew as a child (who came along about 20 yrs after this photo was taken) and some I never knew, but as a genealogist, I feel I know! I really do long to be with them in this photo.

What a wonderful vintage photo and how lucky you are to have it. Great quote at the bottom and lovely layout. I know what you mean that as a genealogist you feel you know them. I share that feeling on many.
