@HeatherB - I think probably a friend had gifted the family with the large pack of toilet paper -- a very appreciated gift in these days of shortages. Or maybe it was some kind of joke. At any rate, as I came around a second time the neighbor was opening the door and taking in the toilet paper but the dog was still sitting and watching.
Cute journaling. And here I thought that the end of this story was that your doggie friend was going to begin eating the TP. Good guard dog. And yes, TP'ing around here is pretty popular around homecoming, although I never did see any homes graced with it this year. Another non-event caused by Covid-19.
