I am starting to scrap a little bits of botanical information about the different plants DH and I discover during our hikes. This weekend the rare Oconee Bells were blooming at a nearby State Park. These little spring ephemerals are found in the moist soil of stream beds in only five U.S. counties.
The second, odd-looking flower is the delightfully named "solitary pussytoes!"
